Airport buses regularly run to Melbourne Southern Cross station.
Trains regularly run from Southern Cross station to Ballarat station.
Trains run from Ballarat to Clunes, with additional services during the festival.
There is also an airport shuttle bus to Ballarat.
By Train
The V/Line train service provides access to Clunes from both Melbourne and Ballarat along with those coming from Maryborough and Talbot.
Extra services are run by V/Line during Booktown Festival weekend.
